As stated by Jessica the fortuitous synchronisation with the Melania statement was indeed timely when the Epstein phantasmagoria had retreated into becoming an Iranian propaganda spoof - you have to credit their ingenuity in adopting the vox pop 'narrative' of their adversary! My immediate reaction to the Melania thing was that it was a 'respectful' bid to call the bluff on the dollar-laden 'victims' in giving testimony 'under oath' for the first time. I noted that none of the pundits on X seemed to grap this, but clearly the Naked Truth group did. In fact the first reaction I heard on the media from the 'victims' was horror that they might be yet again 'victimised' 'without immunity'. Telling. However I would imagine all kinds of compromises might be 'negotiated' to enable this prejudicially - anonymity, immunity etc based on the presumption of 'victimhood' buttressed by the 'open-handed' court settlements. Still, an interesting development. My guess is Melania, having undergone many media takedowns with a canny sense of the 'real' through her slavic background in the once communist Yugoslavia, is fully aware of the mechanics of the 'narrative'. And prepared to risk the move.
