Peter Mandelson Helped Epstein Write Unpublished Statement Admitting to Using Prostitutes

A statement that I found buried deep within the Epstein files and subsequently released last week, was written by Epstein himself amidst his growing frustration with the PR firm he’d hired.

It was typed-up in 2011 after Epstein moaned to his PR representative, Michael Sitrick, about not being reactionary to the countless allegations and sensationalised headlines in the press.

Epstein later refused to pay Sitrick, was sued, and eventually settled for an undisclosed sum.

Once he’d penned the draft statement, going against Sitrick’s adivce, Epstein sent it to Peter Mandelson, the former Labour peer who was recently arrested over allegations he sent sensitive government information to Epstein via email.

In his reply, Mandelson reminded Epstein that he was writing it “as much to protect your friends as yourself”. Presumably, Mandelson considered himself to be among those in need of protecting.
